Calum joined AEGIS Syndicate in April 2019 to drive the marketing efforts of OPAL, whilst bringing a brokers perspective to the product as we look to develop a greater number of distribution channels.

Emily joined AEGIS as an Underwriting Assistant in June 2020, having graduated from the University of Exeter with a BA in Middle Eastern Studies and Arabic. Emily was promoted to Assistant Underwriter in 2023.

Gemma has 20 years of experience in the London Property market and has led the property team's Canadian account, with an emphasis on mid-market business, and she was promoted to Class Underwriter in 2012. She joined the Digital Trading Division in March 2020.  Gemma is an Associate Member of the Chartered Insurance Institute (ACII).

Iain Lewers joined the Digital Trading Division to help drive the commercialisation and distribution of AEGIS London’s digital product expansion. Iain started his career in insurance with WTW, and has previously held senior broking and production roles at Tysers and Gallagher’s. Iain is a Dip CII.

James started his insurance career at AEGIS London in 2012 after graduating with a degree in Physics from the University of Bristol. James is currently a Class Underwriter working in both the Open Market and Facilities team and is an Associate Member of the Chartered Insurance Institute (ACII).

Henry joined AEGIS in May 2021, after spending two years as a Terrorism, Political Violence and Political Risk broker at Ed Broking. Prior to joining Ed, Henry graduated from the University of St Andrews with an MA in Modern History. Henry qualified as an Associate Member of the Chartered Insurance Institute (ACII) in 2023.

Natasha joined AEGIS London in 2020 as Underwriter in the Property Binders team, having started her insurance career on a graduate scheme in 2012. Natasha is ACII qualified and a member of the Canadian Business Group at AEGIS London.

Tom Prifti joined AEGIS London in 2014, having previously been employed by Xchanging. Since joining the AEGIS Professional Indemnity team Tom has risen to the role of Underwriter and is currently involved in the day-to-day running of the OPAL E&O product. Tom is ACII accredited and is a member of the Canadian Business Practice Group.

Finley joined AEGIS London in 2021 following the successful completion of the Lloyd’s apprenticeship scheme. He originally started out as an Underwriting Assistant within our Digital Trading team and moved over to the Professional Indemnity Underwriting team in 2023. Finley holds an ACII accreditation from the Chartered Insurance Institute.

Martin began his career in 1982 as a broker with C.T Bowring before moving into underwriting in 1988 to specialise in Professional Indemnity. Martin has developed a niche PI portfolio over the past 20 years and joined AEGIS London in 2015, after 11 years at Novae Syndicate where he managed Novae's Professional Indemnity account. Martin has been underwriting E&O risks in Canada for over 20 years, and is a member of the Canadian Business Practice Group.

Olivia joined AEGIS London in November 2021 as an Assistant Underwriter. Olivia specialises in delegated authority and programme business while also helping to service the wider open market account. Prior to joining AEGIS, Olivia worked for a Lloyd’s syndicate where her background was in Environmental Impairment Liability and Delegated Authority business. She is currently working towards her ACII.

Danny Summa is the Client Services Manager at Aegis London, primarily focused on maintaining and fostering relationships with our Coverholder Network across Canada.

Carrie Trudeau is Head of Claims Operations for AEGIS having joined the company in April 2018. Although a member of the London Claims team, Carrie is based in Canada and provides a ‘boots on the ground’ claims service for all our Canadian customers. Carrie is a member of the Canadian Business Practice Group.
